1. Trash Collection We collect organic waste from schools within the slums, across Kibera and Mukuru.
2. Nature at Work At our facility, the organic waste is fed to Black Soldier Fly Larvae (BSFL).
Over a 14–21 day period, these amazing insects consume the waste and transform it.
3. Dual Output, Maximum Impact
🌿 Organic Fertilizer The waste is converted into a nutrient-rich fertilizer—perfect for farmers, gardeners, and anyone seeking high-quality soil enrichment.
🐛 High-Protein Larvae The mature BSFL are packed with up to 50% crude protein—higher than soybean meal, fishmeal, and maize bran, making them ideal for animal feed.
4. Sustainable Cycle We retain 20% of the larvae population, allowing them to mature into flies.
Each fly lays up to 10,000 eggs, ensuring the cycle restarts naturally and sustainably.
